In addition to the content of this website there are a number of specific initiatives we undertook between 2012-2016. We list them below in case it gives you ideas to promote F1 in your city:

F1 Setup Workshop

We supported clubs / individuals in running setup workshops for the local F1 community. Here is a format that has worked well for us but feel free to amend it as needed:

• 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon to avoid club days and sport commitments
• we provide a Setup Handout document for printing and distribution on the day
• we suggest that at the end of the workshop one or more races are run so that everyone can see how their car has improved

We have found that people are pretty independent during these sessions but love the fact they can ask other F1 racers questions. It doesn't have to revolve around one F1 guru. It can be as simple as a bunch of racers getting together to help each other and have fun. You can see photos from the first Setup Workshop we ran in May 2012 here.
