Mercedes W05

S37 Racing has done it again with the beautifully modelled 2014 Mercedes W05 of Nico Rosberg.

This is the Mercedes W05 Silver Arrow Mercedes AMG Petronas. At time of writing Nico Rosberg is leading the world championship with his team mate Lewis Hamilton hot on his heels. The W05 has been truly dominant this year winning 9 of the 11 races to date (the 2014 season has 19 races total).

S37 Racing felt this performance deserved a detailed RC model and we think he's done a great job. His weren't the only Mercedes W05 photos that we've received recently but the modelling detail and good photography makes these pics cry out to be included on our site. I've modified the Ferrari F2012 body for the Tamiya F104.

The front slant nose was vacuum moulded. Driver Nico Rosberg No. 6. Remodeled the Schubert-style helmet, and finished in the color of Nico.

When the steering wheel turns the drivers head and arms move in conjunction with the steering servo. On-board cameras modelled to the induction pod and nose sections. DRS unit attached to the rear wing.
