Chassis Comparison - Width & Tyres
14 July 2013
We check as many different F1 chassis as we can beg, borrow or steal and list the width of each chassis and whether F104 or F103 rubber wheels will fit.
In Australia all of these chassis are legal as the maximum width is 205mm. However, some countries specify a narrower maximum width. So to prevent you spending your hard earned dollars on a chassis that may not be legal where you want to race, we've listed the width of each chassis out of the box (from the outside of the tyres).
The 3Racing FGX and HPI F10 uses a 12mm hex. Some manufacturers such as Ride provide wheels for this hex size.
